How To Become A Member

How To Become A Member:

1.1 Membership of CNP shall be by formal application on prescribed application form and payment of a non refundable registration fee of US$10.00 or N1,000.00; which fee may be deferred or waived as the board of directors shall deem fit so to do.

1.2 Duly completed application form and requisite fee may be submitted online through CNP’s web site, by post or in person to any of the regional secretariats.

1.3 The board of directors reserves the right at its sole and absolute discretion to reject any application in spite of compliance with the requirements of sections 1.1 and 1.2 above; provided no person shall be discriminated against on the basis of gender, ethnic, religion, social status or any other similar ground.

1.4 Each admitted member of CNP shall be issued a membership card and entered into a membership register along with a unique membership number.

1.5 To be in good standing, each registered member shall pay an annual membership fee of US$10.00 or N1, 000.00 on the 1^st of January following admission as member and annually thereafter. The board of directors may defer or waive any annual membership fee at its sole and absolute discretion.

1.6 Membership of CNP is on an individual basis and is not transferable and shall cease upon death; and only a member in good standing may vote or be voted for in any elective office of the organization.

1.7 Additional membership rights and privileges shall include (a) full participation in any of the programs committee of interest (b) timely unrestricted access to the Recommendations and Reports of the programs committees (c) attendance at conferences and seminars organized by CNP; and (d) full access to and participation in chat rooms, discussion forums, brain storming sessions and in-house journals.

1.8 The board of directors may expel or suspend any member from enjoying any or all of the membership rights and privileges for non-payment of membership fees and as a disciplinary measure if so recommended by the Disciplinary Committee.
